It was announced this week that Jonathan Gallo and Amanda Shapiro, students in the RU graduate program in I/O Psychology, were selected as winners of the 2008 Robert Wherry award for the best paper at the 29th annual Graduate Student Conference in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior (IOOB). They will receive the award in New Orleans in April at the annual meeting of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). Their paper, Determining the Value of Undergraduate School Quality in Predicting Graduate Student Success, competed against 74 presentations from 28 universities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
