From 1993-94 Equipment Trust Fund purchases:
- 1 Sun work station (Sparc 10)
- 2 multi-media PC's (pentium-based Gateway 2000)
- 1 PowerPC Macintosh 8100/80AV
- 2 PowerPC Macintosh 6100/60AV
- 4 GB storage disk
- 1 optical storage unit
- 1 slide scanner
- 1 laser disk player
- 1 Post Script printer (black & white)
- 1 color printer
- 1 digital slide recorder
- 1 video/data/sound projection unit (Eiki)
Resources which can be loaned:
- video camcorder with tripod
- digital camera
- lap-tops
- Eiki projector
- audio-slide projector
- audio-film strip projector
- overhead projector
- 27" color television with VCR
Additional technology available on-site
All computers and printers are networked to the campus RUNET system.
The Teaching Resources Center is also able to receive
programs downloaded from satellite dishes on Porterfield Hall providing
the resources of video-teleconferences and distant learning capabilities.
