(5 points) If necessary, read Chapter 4 in Wells’s book which is indicated as a reference in ITEC 350 syllabus.

Learn to turn on telnet and ftp services on your Redhat (RH) machine by editing the appropriate files in /etc, /etc/xinet.d. On one of your Windows machines, show that you can telnet into the RH machine. Show that you can ftp into the RH machine.

To do this, you may need to create a few additional users on your RH machine.

Learn to use the Samba client (smbclient) as described in Wells. To do this, create a Windows share directory on one of your windows machines. Put a test file in the directory and show that you can access it from the RH machine.
