The following people can help with any of ITEC 1{00,09,10,20,22}; they will have a sign at their computer identifying themselves.
If the tutor/PI is not present, please notify ibarland@radford.edu (with time & place), so that we can correct any mistakes.
All hours are in Davis225 unless otherwise indicated.

Want to talk w/ a tutor on-line?
Go to the on-line tutoring system, poi.radford.edu (“peer on-line instruction”) during the above hours. (You can even try the on-line system at random hours, and there might be a tutor happened to be logged in.)

Off-campus needs VPN: Note that from off-campus, you need to first log in to VPN in a separate window/tab, before you can use the on-line tutoring system.

• The Davis lab-hours are strictly drop-in. Further tutors might be available through the LARC (Walker 125); they give precedence to people with appointments (540-831-7704, or IM RULARCappt), but drop-ins available if nobody is there with an appointment.
• Departmental tutor hours are not in effect for the first week of the semester, for finals week, Thanksgiving and Spring breaks (2011.Mar.05-13 (Sat-Sun)), nor over the summer.
• Q: What's the difference between a “peer instructor (PI)” and a “peer tutor”?
  A: A PI helps with a particular course, attending the lab sessions (2hrs/wk) plus one office hour (1hr/wk).
  On the other hand, a tutor is not associated with any particular ITEC class, and holds 3 office hrs/wk.
  In both cases, their salary ultimately comes from your tuition (in part), so don't hesitate to stop by and ask them questions! Keep in mind that they have their own classes though, and are only scheduled to help you during their hours.
