Assignments

You need to submit assignments using disketts. To earn the credit for your assignment, your web page must be perfectly working on any machines. I strongly suggest you to buy new disketts. I will give you grade "zero" if your diskett is not working on my machine due to any kind of problems such as virus etc..

Grading

There are several assignments and projects. Total for assignments and projects grade will be 30% of the final grade. There will be five tests and one final exam. Each test will be 10% and final exam will count 20%. For your own protection, all graded material or disketts returned to you should be kept until after you have received your letter grade from the University. If you have any question about your final letter grade, you must present the graded material and disketts in question to the Instructor before any adjustment will be made. So keep these items in a safe place!

Attendance

Although attendance is not required, it is strongly urged. Be warned, however, that I am less likely to help those who have not availed themselves of the lectures. Remember, you are still responsible for all the material covered and professor's instructions in class, regardless of your attendance.

Honor Code

By accepting admission to Radford University, each student makes a commitment to understand, support, and abide by the University Honor Code without compromise or exception. Violations of academic integrity will not be tolerated. This class will be conducted in strict observance of the Honor Code. Refer to your Student Handbook for details. In particular, the copying of computer assignments, in whole or in part, will be considered plagiarism. Furthermore, consulting with anyone other than the Instructor on either the nature or answers to programming assignments is expressly forbidden.
