Radford University
and The Waldron College of Health and Human Services held ground breaking
ceremonies for the new Waldron Hall on May 7, 1999. Upon completion, it
will be the largest academic building on the RU campus. Occupancy is scheduled
for August 2000.
Waldron Hall will house Communications Sciences and Disorders, Foods and Nutrition, Lesure Services, the School of Nursing and the School of Social Work. In addition to faculty and administrative offices, classrooms and labs, the building will host the George Harvey Resource Center, a repository of health and wellness information for use by health professionals, students and the general public.  |
