College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences
Radford University enrolls over 8,000 U.S. and international undergraduates and over 1,000 graduate students. You may choose from over 140 academic program options that provide a rigorous program of study which prepare you for careers or post graduate education as well as to participate as an informed citizen in the 21st century.
The College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences offers degree programs and individual classes designed to emphasize the liberal arts as a foundation for life-long learning. It also contains a number of academic programs that lead to specific career paths: public relations, media, criminal justice, counseling, technical writing, and forensics. The programs in this college also prepare students for graduate study. The college emphasizes teaching and engagement with students whether in the classroom or through study abroad, faculty-student research, or internships.
The College'sAdvising Centerprovides students information regarding general education requirements, academic policies and procedures, scholastic standards, and resource referral assistance. Specific assistance is provided freshman and sophomore students who have chosen a major within the School of Communication or Criminal Justice.
