Locations of Multimedia Carts

Upon reservation, these mobile carts are availiable for classroom use. On-line reservations can be made from any RUNET site by authorized users. (For training to become a user see a Multimedia Technology Specialist faculty member from any of the 5 classroom buildings or contact the Center for Teaching Excellence.)

The 5 classroom mobile units each contain


NOTE: The young woman in the photo of the multimedia cart is Diana Pack, a Graduate Assistant in the Center for Teaching Excellence.
The 5 classroom buildings and cart locations are:
Building Specific Location(*)
Davis-McGuffey-Young (Pentium-based Gateway 2000 PC) Davis media room (152), key from secretary in Davis 127
Powell-Porterfield (Macintosh Power PC 6100) cart kept in Porterfield 234, key from Polly McMillan (Theatre secretary) in Powell 223
Reed-Curie (Macintosh Power PC 6100) cart kept in Reed 209 (eventually in Reed 201-202) key from Greg Zagursky or Biology secretary, Rhonda Goad
Russell (Pentium-based Gateway 2000 PC) cart kept in RU 205, key from Cindy in Russell 221
Whitt (Pentium-based Gateway 2000 PC) cart kept in Whitt 223, key from Bob Herrring (Whitt 122), Jerry Kopf (Whitt 115), or Lisa Healey-McDaniel (Whitt 202)
(*) after working hours key may be obtained from Campus Security, Russell Hall basement.

A graph display showing current usage data, by month and by building, is updated monthly.
