What is NSSLHA?
The National Student Speech
Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is the national organization for
graduate and undergraduate students interested in the study of human
communication and related disabilities.
NSSLHA is the only official
national student association recognized by the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Are you eligible to join?
NSSLHA membership is
available to full or part-time undergraduate and graduate students and
full-time doctoral students interested in the study of human
communication and related disabilities.
Students joining the local
chapter of NSSLHA are not members of national NSSLHA and are not eligible
to receive benefits of national membership.
How do you join?
In order to join
Radford’s NSSLHA chapter, you simply must get in contact with the
president, Monica Havens at mahavens@radford.edu . Email her about your interest in
becoming involved with our NSSLHA chapter. She will then give you information
about the following meeting date.
Dues are as follows:
Local Radford Chapter: $10
annually
National NSSLHA: $65 annually (go to www.asha.org to become a national
member)
