What is NSSLHA?

The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is the national organization for graduate and undergraduate students interested in the study of human communication and related disabilities.

NSSLHA is the only official national student association recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Are you eligible to join?

NSSLHA membership is available to full or part-time undergraduate and graduate students and full-time doctoral students interested in the study of human communication and related disabilities.

Students joining the local chapter of NSSLHA are not members of national NSSLHA and are not eligible to receive benefits of national membership.

How do you join?

In order to join Radford’s NSSLHA chapter, you simply must get in contact with the president, Monica Havens at mahavens@radford.edu .  Email her about your interest in becoming involved with our NSSLHA chapter.  She will then give you information about the following meeting date.  Dues are as follows:

Local Radford Chapter: $10 annually
National NSSLHA: $65 annually (go to www.asha.org to become a national member)
