PPP Dial Up Networking Instructions

Windows 95

 Point to Point Protocol (PPP) is a network protocol that can turn your home PC into an Internet node via the phone line. This allows you to run Netscape, Internet Explorer, Telnet, Eudora and other Winsock packages from your computer at home.

 This document will lead you through how to set up and configure dial up networking on your IBM PC Compatible Windows 95 computer.

 NOTE: These instructions ONLY apply to Windows 95.

IBM PC Compatible 386

Microsoft Windows 95

8mb of RAM

8mb of hard drive space

Modem Requirements 9600 baud modem
